0 Dr. Serena H Chen Honored With Resolve’s Hope Award For Advocacy
We are so thrilled to announce that our fabulous Doctor Serena H. Chen will be honored with RESOLVE’s prestigious 2020 Hope Award for Advocacy! Resolve: The National Infertility Association is a not-for-profit powerhouse started in 1974 that advocates for those challenged by infertility as they navigate their family-building journeys. The Hope Award for Advocacy is a national award given to an individual, organization or corporation whose work has raised public awareness, advanced a legislative agenda, or prompted change for the benefit of those diagnosed with infertility. Doctor Chen has championed greater access to health care for the infertility community throughout her career. She was one of the first physicians to participate in ASRM’s Advocacy Academy, she has represented NJ on the federal level at RESOLVE’s Advocacy Day since 2016, and in her home state of New Jersey, she fiercely advocated for state legislation to cover fertility preservation for patients experiencing infertility from cancer or other medical treatments – for which the state signed into law in 2020!

RESOLVE’s The Night of Hope Awards Gala will be held virtually this year on Thursday, November 12, 2020, 8:00-9:30pm EST. We’d love to see you all there celebrating Dr. Chen and the other honorees like Andy Cohen from Bravo and Chloe Melas from CNN. It will be a wonderful night of good times, inspiring stories and big hair as this year’s theme is the 80’s inspired ‘Go Back to the Future for Resolve’.

Chen, MD serves as Director for the Division of Reproductive Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, and the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science, and is a Clinical Associate Professor at Rutgers, UMDNJ Medical School and the St George’s University School of Medicine.
