In honor of Endometriosis Awareness Week, please watch this very informative video from Dr. Serena Chen. Endometriosis is defined as the abnormal growth of cells outside of the uterus. The cause of endometriosis is still not known and though some women have specific symptoms endo can be associated with pelvic pain, pain on intercourse, heavy periods, etc. Approximately 40-50% of women with endometriosis have some trouble conceiving.
