Keeping You Safe, Practice Update From Our Clinical Director

Hello from IRMS!

May 4th: We are currently OPEN for Morning Monitoring in our Clark and Livingston office locations. We are utilizing scheduled appointment times for Morning Monitoring and Klara check-in. We are scheduling ALL checklist items such as Physical Exams, Saline Sonograms, HSG’s, Semen Analysis as well as IUI, IVF and FETs. Click here for more details.

We have been missing and thinking about you every day!  We love seeing you during our virtual visits and getting a glimpse of your life outside of our offices.  The COVID era has thrust a completely new way of living and working upon all of us.  Confusion, uncertainty and fear only describe the tip of the iceberg in this unprecedented, historic time.  We especially understand how difficult these times are for our patients who want very much to get back to TTC!!

Thankfully, we appear to be nearing the peak/plateau in New Jersey.  We realize that nothing is certain, and the situation will remain fluid for months.  However, we are working on many aspects of bringing treatment back to IRMS in a thoughtful, methodical, and most of all, safe manner.

Because the situation can change quickly, current planning may be different tomorrow.  We will do our best to communicate any changes through your IRMS team, as it affects your treatment plan.

We plan to continue utilizing telemedicine as the main mode of communication with our patients for the foreseeable future.  The doctors have opened up Saturday mornings for new patient visits.  At the close of these meetings, patients will be contacted by IRMS personnel for follow-up and task orientation.

Regarding returning to the physical office, we are working on re-structuring physical space to continue to observe social distancing protocols.  We will be re-assigning many staff members to work from home as much as possible.  We are procuring PPE that is necessary for staff/patients in an environment such as ours.  As a fertility practice, we remain low risk for transmission if proper social distancing measures are employed.

I hope that this brings you up to speed on what we are thinking.  We want to keep everyone safe, while taking care of the patients who need us.

If you have any questions at all, please reach out to us at 973-548-9900 or drop us a line through our website contact form, chat widget or any of our social platforms.
