IRMS NJ Urges National Institute of Health to Recognize Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) as a Major Women’s Health Issue. Sign the Petition Today!

Woman thinking

Affecting nearly 14 million reproductive-age women, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common endocrine disorders today. PCOS is the leading cause of female infertility and includes both physical and emotional symptoms that oftentimes go overlooked. In fact, less than half of women with the disorder experience the appropriate diagnosis. Individuals with PCOS are more susceptible to developing high blood pressure and are at risk of facing anxiety and depression. In order to pave the way to increased education and awareness of PCOS, help us lobby for government support by signing the #PCOSPETITION today.
